My nature art

 Today I made a nature art.

I made this nature art out of leaf. I got these leafs from a park and I made my art in the park. It's pretty good there's a lot of beautiful leafs in park and I get to have some good materials. It's a very very fun thing to do and I suggest you to make your own nature art.

Chinese language week!!!

大家好, it is Chinese language week🇨🇳!  This my favourite week cause I'm a Chinese😊. Let's learn Chinese numbers! 0=零, 1=一, 2=二, 3=三, 4=四, 5=五, 6=六, 7=七, 8=八, 9=九 and 10=十. Wanna learn something about the Chinese culture? Do you know what red packet is? I can tell you about that. Red packet is a kind of gift that the adults give children when it is the spring festival. You may want to know what's in the red packet, it is money,lucky money, and normally 1 or 2 hundred dollars. People believed that lucky money will bring them good luck. That's all for today, bye!

 Today we learned how to write a quality blog comment. Those things is what you should have in you comment.

If you have all of these in your comment, it will be a perfect comment.

Scratch

 Today we made a scratch project. Here is a short video for it.

We learned how to make our sprite fly. This is a picture of the coding.

I did this code on the building and the cloud which the bird flied pass. Instead of the bird I made the building and the cloud move so that it looks like bird is flying pass them.

Fale points week 4

Today we made a graph of the fale points and here it is.

From this graph I can see that...

• Kauri has 39 points more than Kowhai.
• Totara has the most points with 859 points.
• Rata has the least points with 673 points.

China

 

China is the 3rd biggest county which has about 1.4 billion people. This Olympics China is doing well.

It never ever went lower than the third. Still,I would like China to be 1st!🥇

Simplify fractions

 Today we were learning how to simplify fractions. First thing I did is find a number that would equally fit to the top number and the under number.

The first thing I did for this fraction is to find a number that can equally fit to the 12 and 15 and which is 3. 12 divided by 3 equals 4, 15 divided by 3 equals 5 so the answer is 4/5.

Fale house points week 9

 

This is a graph I made for the fale points. The first picture is the fale points and the second picture is the graph I made from the information of the fale points.

1. Rata has the most points.
2. Totara is 10 points more than Kowhai
3. Kowhai is 161 points more than Kauri.
4. Kauri has the least points.

I think is possible for Kauri to catch up to Rata but I think it's unlikely. Because normally teams earn 60 points a day.

Spreadsheet-Analysis of Completed Tasks for Monday 28 June

 Ms Corbett was sick yesterday, but the reliever didn't come so we got split. Ms Corbett emailed us the task for the day.

This is a graph of the tasks that the whole class finished.

From the graph I can see that there is 22 student in our class that day. I know that by add the amount of each colour. Blue is 1, red is 6, yellow is 7, purple is 6 and green is 2 add together is 22 student. From this graph I can see that there's 1 student did 0 task, 6 student did 1 task, 7 student did 2 tasks, 6 student did 3 tasks and 2 student did all tasks. I think this is not that good, everybody should finish the tasks. I will do the tasks better and faster by focus more next time.😄

Today we did an animation using google slides.It's my first time recording and I learn a lot from it.I'm sure that I could do it better next time.The animation is hard but interesting,drawing,creating and recording.Step by step,It's actually fun.😄

Dipthongs

Today we practised pronouncing diphthongs in Te Reo Māori. Diphthongs are when 2 vowels are together. Ms Corbett gave us 4 words to practise. I chose Te papaiouru. Here is a recording of my practice.
